12: Adding Texture via Layers

In Photoshop our task are to learn how to texture with layer modes by using clipping masks to constrain the visibility of one layer to that of the layer beneath. In a clipping mask, the bottom most layer acts as a mask for the layers above it. We first find a favorable suit of our liking and open it up in Adobe Photoshop. Then we have to separate the jacket from the figure and make a new layer out of it. To do that we have to select the jacket and use the magnetic lasso tool. After we have carve out the jacket we find a texture you want and open it. With that done, we then move the texture in the image you are working on and place the texture over the top of the Jacket and make sure that it covers the jacket. And lastly we clip the layer and choose a layer mode for the texture which in my case I used Exclusion.
